Creativity, innovation are stories behind products in fair

Who cares about how commercial goods and products came to be or who created them? Not many, but with the exception of the group Youth First Initiative Philippines.

Telling stories of human creativity, ingenuity and innovation is the concept behind why it organized Produkto Lokal Weekend Fair which will start 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on February 27 to 28, 2016 at the Mango Tree Restaurant in Mandurriao district, Iloilo City.

The fair will allow interested end-users to know the idea behind how the product was developed or what inspiration had served to encourage its creator or maker to make it into finished products.

Among the product exhibitors are Denise who established Tigbato.ph, a platform were she introduced the art of calligraphy into interesting stuffs. An art she learned way back when she was 11 years old, Denise was able to refine her art by constant practice and made Tigbato.ph her way of re-introducing and educating people about calligraphy.

The fair will also feature original prints and designs by Pearl Diano. Diano’s print works like postcards will make one relive the past when postcards were valuable art pieces and collectors’ item especially when given by special persons or friends from distant places.

There’s much more from Sweet Rescue wherein Hyacinth kicked-off her vanilla muffin business from rummaging into old cabinets making her discover old muffin tin cans by Grandma or Sidro’s homemade donuts done from natural ingredients.
