The character of the Philippines as a center of food and gastronomy will be at the center of the 3-day KAIN NA! Experience Western Visayas First Food and Travel Festival.
KAIN NA! Experience Western Visayas is being organized by the Dept. of Tourism Region VI in partnership with the Dept. of Agriculture (DA) and the Ayala Malls. It will be held at Atria Park District in Mandurriao, Iloilo City from December 6 to 8, 2019.
The Food and Travel Festival has been designed to create interest and increase awareness about authentic local cuisines that can be found in places that are considered travel destinations. The event will have a combined feature of local chefs, local dishes, and local products.
The who’s who in Western Visayas’ culinary circle are expected to attend together with officials of the local government units, national government agencies, travel and tourism sector, business and micro to small and medium enterprises.
The event will also serve as a promotions platform of farm tourism sites scattered in different provinces of Panay Island, namely: Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras and Iloilo.
